My azure damsels chase each other around like little Jack Russell terriers so I got to thinking… if fish were dogs… what breeds would they be?
Damsel: Jack Russell Terrier, absolutely fearless and dang near indestructible.
Clownfish: Golden Retriever, most are orange and kind of the ultimate representative of the dog species.
Naso tang: Great Dane, enormous, too big for the average home.
Engineer goby: Border Collie, class valedictorian.
Mandarin: Pekingese, fancy sausage with a high maintenance diet.
Sailfin tang: Papillon, their silhouettes match when rotated 90 degrees.
Flame hawk: bulldog, stocky but gets along with everyone.
Zebra eel: Whippet, lithe and shy except at dinner time.
