These were a hitchhiker on some LR and I was hoping someone could tell me what kind of zoanthid they are.......I've never seen them before.

Those are really cool looking.....I would have to say Palythoa I think. Protopalythoas have the polyps inbedded in the mat.Do they look like they have sand in or on the stolen(stalk)? If they do then they are Palythoas.Although I do get the two confused......

Polyps are not imbedded in a mat.......no sand either. Just stalks coming out of the rockwork.......thanks for helping me ID these. They were in my daughter's tank under VHO lighting. She didn't have room for them so she gave them to me:) They have greened up a bit more under my 20K XM's.
