Have been battling this green brown algae for a few weeks now. Suspect it is more than one type but would appreciate any advice. Scrubbed half the rocks and sprayed with peroxide which kept them clean for a week but the stuff is growing like mad. Inverts won't touch it, nor will my algae blenny.

Alk - 7dKh
PO4 - 0.12ppm
NO3 - 1ppm

This was after cleaning the left portion of rocks with peroxide.

It looks like a brownish hair algae to me. Nothin really likes it. Up the light cycle on your ats or fuge and it will grow there instead of display.
I may give that a go. Recently turned down the light cycle on the fuge as the cheato stopped growing when PO4 and NO4 hit undetectable - and that's when this stuff really took off. It was growing on top of the cheato!
