Appreciate the help. Are they bad?spirorbid worms
they are harmless filter feeders but they can multiply very fast, i have lots in my tank.Appreciate the help. Are they bad?
Appreciate the info. Was just reading up on them. Heard horror stories about the EEFW. Was freaking out a bit! They may somewhat irritate corals, but nothing I would be worried about.
They do spread quite fast though, and some people dislike the way they look and decide to remove them.
Great Info. All flatworms are unfortunately a nightmare to deal with, as a general rule - you'd want to dip all corals as well as to use a Turkey buster to blow all kinds of pest that might be present on the tissue but invisible to the naked eye and as a last step before introducing the coral to its new home, examine it closely under a magnifier glass to make sure no eggs are present, usually they are found at the base of the coral.
