I clean the glass at night and in the morning these tiny white things are covering the glass. I dont see them move and there are long strings (mucus?) coming out of them. Are they some kind of worm? Good or bad?

just seems like buildup of film algae, or in worst case could be the start of dinos/lyngbya?

if you have any wrasses, anemone's, or types of leathers- they shed a mucus-like skin which could be this. some wrasses make a mucus cocoon when they sleep. anemone's will shed, in a way, when moving from one spot to the next after being in place for a while as there is detritus that builds up and could lead to this. some leathers shed their skin as they grow.
