Hi everyone,

I purchased this frag about 2 weeks ago from a Petco near me. Wasn't in great shape so thought I would get it and see if I could bring it back, I guess you could say.

Well it is doing great and has several new heads on in but I can't figure out if it is a form of Xenia or maybe a clove type coral. What do you all think?

Hi David, looks like xenia me also ;)
That's what I was thinking, then I got to doing some looking around and i'm starting to think Clove...

Clove polyps.
...the reason why is so far it seems all Xenia have several heads coming from one stalk, and the cloves I have looked at appear to have one head per stalk.

Since it came from a Petco (probably not an exotic species), I'm thinking clove also.
Yeah, I have pretty much settled on clove as well. I'm glad I was able to bring it back, it was the only one left alive in the tank and I felt bad for it lol.
