I got my ICP test results back and I can se that some of the minor elements are slightly elevated. Im trying to figure out why, but I haven`t figured it out yet.
Maybe some got experience with aquarium showing these elevated values?

I dose phytoplankton can it be that some of these elements are used in “phytofuel” for the phytoplankton production. And they haven`t been depleted fully by the phytoplankton?

(All corals are doing fine, i just want to understand why)

Tin 2.28 µg/l
Vanadium 1.12 µg/l
Nickel 3.16 µg/l
Silicon 67.68 µg/l
Lithium 186.5 µg/l
Iron 0.95 µg/l
Aluminium 13.07 µg/l

None of these values are concerning. Some of these elements are most likely present in a product you’re dosing. A few are usually always depleted if not dosed while others are typically consumed in a very short timeframe. It really just depends on the salt brand used, system age, biomass, and many other factor’s as well, but if I were you I’d stop that product or switch to something different and monitor subsequent ICP’s. Elevated Nickel and Iron could potentially become an issue if they keep trending up.
