Good morning,
i have received my ICP results back from Fauna Marin. looking at the results i have some elevated metals such as tin and aluminium. the iodine is still quite high(lower than my last ICP). my tank is around 5 months old now. could some suggest what the best course of action would be to try and get back to a stable natural sea water level.
i'm currently adding TM NP plus to bring up the po4 until my Na3po4 arrives later today. i have a few corals and 6 fish that get around a cube and a half a day.
i have a polyfilter placed in the sump to try and help remove the metals, which may explain other metal being on the low side. other than that i do not dose anything else.
i did consider adding gfo to help reduce the aluminium, however as the po4 is low i decided to wait until the po4 is elevated.
i'm not sure if water changes will balance out the water.
thanks for any help.
the ICP is attached if someone would kindly have a look and get back to me,
thanks again.
just noticed the title spelling mistake lol

Aside from the elevated tin and aluminum, if the phosphate is accurate it may be too low.

If corals seem OK, I would agonize over the tin and aluminum. The levals may not be high enough to be a problem, but I'd consider removing any white media you may be using.

The tin may be coming from plastics such as tubing or PVC.

Ok thanks Randy. I removed a large marine pure block a couple of weeks ago. Will continue with water changes and dose some po4.
