I've just moved my chromis into a QT yesterday in preparation of treating ich (although he has no signs, I know my DT has it). This is the protocol I'll be following by Jay & David.

Thread 'Current Quarantine Protocol' https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/current-quarantine-protocol.825055/
As I understand chromis are very tough . My tank went through velvet and ich episode before . Velvet wiped bunch of fish . Chromis never got sick . 7/7 non of them get affected

Even if the fish don’t show signs of infection, they can still be carriers. When ich (or any disease) shows, it is best to move all of them into qt and treat appropriately. Fallow for ich is 60 days.

I know . All of my fish Carry something . It’s in the tank already . I have to use old fashioned B Paul technique. A lot of clams and all different type of food . Any fish come to my tank got ich here there . Then they get better on its own
