Ice Cap Battery Backup V3 works with Mighty Jet return Pump?

So the V3 came out and want to know if this will support or will work with Mighty Jet return pumps?

It doesn’t. I was sure it would but it provides an E2 error on the controller.

True but most 24v dc pumps will operate at 12v. Anyway you can fix it by getting a second and putting them in series.

If I'm not mistaken it's been reported that 12v won't activate the mighty jet controller. Haven't heard if anyone trying multiple battery packs.

It works if you do what I show. I’m using it with a mighty jet.

What am I looking at here? two 12v batteries in series? And would linking two ice cap battery backup v3's together technically give 24 volts?
