I saw a lady on Facebook selling an entire setup, so I decided to take a chance. As a plumber by trade, I offered my services in exchange. She needed two toilets replaced and a garbage disposal installed. While my expertise is mainly in new construction, I put my installation skills to use. After installing the two toilets and the garbage disposal, I became the proud owner of an SR80. I plan on selling the torch and a few other items to recoup the money I spent on the toilets. I definitely can't complain. Now it's time to think about my new stock list.

Love this! Best of luck with it all, that's a great looking tank.
I'm a big fan of the IM tanks.

When she agreed I was shocked
You feel like you got a deal, and so did she! Not sure what plumbers near you are charging, but in my neck of the woods, those three things would have run $500 easy to just install, plus materials if any were needed.

She was getting rid of the tank, got some work done, and lost ZERO dollars.

So who started the barter process? you or her?

Pretty easy installation for a pro. As long as he’s happy with it…That setup is $1500-2000

Me I was going to buy some coral from the setup but the amount of aptasia and algae lead me to try and barter. She didn't even hesitate. Honestly I thought she was going to ask for cash on top. Around here to pull and set a toilet cost around 500-600 and garbage disposal around 325. She was happy and I was as well

Awesome and good for you! If it was me I would have a hard time parting with that torch, beautiful! It was great bartering practice also incase the economy continues in the same direction ;)!

Agreed! No way I could give up that Torch. I’m a sucker for Torches.
