I think this is a good solution for low return hole?

Well I drilled my return line too low. We did the math and my sump could handle it but to make sure it could I had to get creative. Its a 90 degree street into a split Y. This raised the water level up just enough so that the first ball of the flex is just slightly above the bottom of the overflow. Hopefully this will sort it out. Any thoughts?

Yes, that will work. If you want to leave the output of the lock line below the water level, I suggest put a syphone break. I marked up a picture for you. It doesn't have to be where I put it but 180° from where I marked it. It can be a small hole, <1/8"

Oh just a hole? I can do that. Sorry for noob question but that will break a siphon when the water hits that point?

Yes, add soon as power gets cut, water will travel down to the sump. When the water gets down to the hole it will suck air and break your syphone.
