I just went into the fish room to feed and saw the corals po'ed and the wrasse and two tangs on the bottom of the tank, and the clowns acting real funny.

The only thing I could see is that my ATO crapped out and pumped maybe three gallons of water into a total of maybe 110 -120 gallons. Salinity has dropped to 1.025 from 1.026. Otherwise, I have no idea what's going on. Looks like a long night. I don't know what's going on, and I'm pulling my hair out!!!

Oh man, that's terrible. I hope everything recovers. Is there any stray voltage or anything else that may have made it into the tank? What are your other parameters? I can't see how there would be a widespread collapse with that amount of a freshwater addition into a system of that size.

:( I have no idea what to tell you,

Do you have auto dosers?

Anything doses recently manually?

Any chemicals used near the tank or recent changes in that area of the home?

Check your po4 before doing anything drastic. Sometimes these things just work themselves out. Also, do an ammonia check as well.
ATO is not going to be an issue. If it dropped to ~1.016 then maybe.

No stray voltage. Pumps all working. Nothing sprayed in the house. I did have an issue with an overdose of Calc a couple days ago, but after 2, 50 gallon water changes, everything seemed to be normal. The one thing that scares me now is that I can't find my red and black cucumber. And if he "nuked", that's a problem! I'm at a loss.

The salinity didn't drop enough to make any difference at all to these guys. How are the fish doing? Breathing heavy/fast? Are the rest of the fish fine?

Salinity change from 1.026 to 1.025 is not even a drop. There must be something else going on. Since the fishes are not doing well i'd start with ammonia then PH. Sorry to hear this and good luck!

I have had cucumbers expell their guts and die, everything including the fish just ate them and kept right on going, certainly nothing looked as unhappy as all of your stuff looks.

Got any magnets in the aquarium that may have become corroded? I've heard of them causing tank crashes.

First off, the ATO is DC, so not an issue.

However, not looking good.

Just changed out the carbon....three cups.

Any fish I could see is on the sandbed....and it's odd the wrasse hasn't buried itself....lights are out.

I'm at a total lose!

Can you set up a quick QT with all new water? Maybe remove the fish from the display's water and see if they perk up? That will tell you if the fish are having issues with the water or with themselves. I hope.

By any chance do you have a voltage meter, just to make sure?
