Man I have battled for a while! Finally figured out that the co2 needle valve was not open enough to keep up!

I battled my ca reactors (I had two of them) then my buddy suggested I get a Litermeter. I tried it and I love it. Never had such stability... I can guess what my alk is within 3 ppm pretty much on any given day. Its totally awesome. I mix about 2 mos worth of Randy's 2 part and I'm done.

I fought mine for two months - turned out my regulator was bad. I bought an aquariumplants.com electronic regulator and I haven't had to touch it for months now. Just upping effluent to keep up with calcium uptake.

They are expensive as all get out, but worth it IMO.

I switched to a reactor because I got tired of making two part. I was using 240ml in my 75G every day. I didn't want to be mixing 2 part all the time with my 120.

I have been running a calcium reactor for over 5 months now. Took me around 2 weeks to get it dialed in, but its alot better than dosing over 130ml per day of 2 part. Since the reactor I dont think there is a better way with larger systems!
