I picked this up to keep my temporary system running while I was moving. I ran it for about a week. I'd suggest not trying to use this in anything larger than a 30-ish gallon tank as it's pretty small, so it's wave/flow pattern is pretty small (unless you're adding to flow you already have or plan to have multiples). It's rated at 1600 GPH, but either I didn't take the time to set it right (possible, since I was more focused on moving) or it's a bit lower than that. Still moves water well, and it did create a nice wave pattern in my 40B though.

Anyway, it's in perfect condition and works well.
