Greetings,
I have Hydrogen peroxide (3.6%) which contains the following Ingredients:
Aqua
Hydrogen peroxide
sodium diethylenetriamine pentamethylene phosphonate

I have no clue what the last one might be and if its reef safe to use for dipping corals or equipment for cleaning.
Anyone got any clue about it?

Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the feedback I thought it might be not be reef safe.
What are the usual ingredients that can be found in reef safe HP?

I personally would avoid hydrogen peroxide as a coral dip as it likely disrupts and or kills off part of the coral's microbiome.

Hydrogen peroxide and purified water. I would use 3% unless you dilute it quite a bit.

I thought they only did that if it was a high percentage? Like laundry care and soaps? Otherwise it's just purified water? Have they changed things?

Stabilized like that time mom drank a whole box wine then went to the rodeo and met my new daddy that kind of stable? Or like when your touched uncle holds the ladder for you when you are putting up the satellite dish and he forgets you up there and leaves to go watch American Idol?

Oh and I use Bayer to dip my corals. I make it thick like a milkshake then dump those bad boys right in. When finished with the dip I take that dip and toss it in the back yard. I haven't seen a mosquito in like 5 years.

They don't have to list stabilizer from what I've researched since it's topical. Why likely best use food grade or Sodium percarbonate as I'm going to try. Basically soda ash plus peroxide. Still calling the company to ensure there's nothing else in there otherwise send out a sample for ICP testing. Can buy the powdered form in buckets therefore more economical than food grade without the precautions for shipping and one can constitute strength as desired. Obviously alkalinity boost a concern as I've yet discovered how much soda ash actually present.
