I’ve had these zoas for a while now and they lost their color very quickly and turned this color. I tried to wait it out and am figuring I may be doing something wrong.

I see you still have some Ammonia in the tank. Hopefully it will balance out. I will say however it doesn't appear the zoas are just melting. They are an odd color though. So what I would suggest is to try a feed just to see. Maybe do a little reef roids. Or supplement with Brithwell aquatics Coral Amino or Red Sea Ab+ Or all of the above. Just my thought. I've never had this issue b4.

I'm pretty sure the ammonia is from a false 0. It read 0 with my old test kit. My nutrients have balanced out pretty well. I have fed reef roids, and used seachem's reef + none of which have made a difference.

What color were they to start? Often I find that small zoa buds on frag plugs may have a different color/pattern compared to fully grown ones.

the ones on the left were labeled nuclear green, with a light blue, and light green coloration. the ones on the right appeared to be a solid orange. there also hasn't been a large amount of growth on these either.
Just out of curiosity, what lights are you using? Do they fluoresce under actinic blue lighting?
