My country has a variety of acro being farmed and in shops, however most people just say "karang jahe" or "acro" and that's it. We almost never import as well, so is there any way of knowing that acro frags will table in future? Thanks

It's usually species dependent, but will vary a bit with the environment it is grown in flow/ light wise.I also believe there might be some genetics/ genotypes at play within species as well.

Look for species like A. anthoceris, A. paniculata
A. efflorescences, A. Cytherea, A. Stoddarti , A. Spicifera, A. hyacinthus, A. orbicularis.

Also, esp when grown in high flow A. selago, A. donei A.microclados, A. nasuta, A. plana will form corymbose (puffy) plates

Are there any ways to determine the species just visually?
