I just bought a diy led light with app controller but I have to setting lighting manually, the thing is app has an app with mutiple colors that make me confused. So do I have to mix red and green led with blue or just focus on blue and dim up and down by the time of day, I did a reseach on web but only have guide for retail led light, really lack of information for diy one, below is photos of my led and the app interface, you guys have any ideas about this

What are you trying to keep in this tank?
Typically red spectrum is for growing Algae
More blue/white for fish and coral.

If you are doing DIY LED. I would dedicate one for white, one soft white, one blue I would even add an ultra violate. If you want Macro algae I would add some red as well. A color change would be interesting for display but I wouldn't recommend it for coral. Fish would be fine though.

This is a good thread as it talks all about the light spectrum coral needs.
