I have a Colorado Sunburst that was about 3-4" fully extended when I got it. A year later, it's now the size of a dinner plate. It has lived in an acclimation box that's 12" across, and it completely fills the box with more room to extend. I don't feed it. How much larger can it grow?

I need it to split, not because I want to sell it but rather just want it to be a manageable size before going in the DT. Feed it often? Give it more space? Somehow stress it more?

Taking a razor to it is not an option.

I have both Colorado's and Chicago's -- they split "naturally" with the help of sharp objects! lol Other than that, all of mine have never split actually. I've heard that they split when happy or stressed. I'm not aware of proven methods to induce/promote nems to split.
