Well got this guy home and tested the salinity in the bag to find it was only about 25 ppt...I started increasing salinity and after 45 minutes increasing salinity at about 2 ppt every 15 minutes or so got him to 30 ppt before deciding to adjust my QT tank to match that so I could increase to 35 much more slowly since from 25 to 35 is such a dramatic increase. How slowly should I increase now from 30 to 35 ppt? He's been at 30 ppt for about 4 or 5 hours now and is eating...I have an airstone in the QT. Here's a video of him...he looks fine right? He's just been in that one corner despite having pipe fittings to hide in.

I usually recommend increasing salinity by replacing evaporated water with 35 ppt seawater.

I'll slowly increase through evaporation then...it's also worth noting that there are currently 3 camel shrimp in there as well that were also being held at the same salinity in the shop (25ppt)
