So I've been dosing ATI Essentials Pro two-part in equal doses for a while and currently dose 30ml per day of each to maintain an alk of 8 in a red sea reefer 350.
However, I managed to spill some of the part 2 calcium. I only have around 84ml of the calcium part left but over 900ml of the alk part. But I have a full tub of Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium lying around and I figure I could just use this to make up for the missing part 2. It contains calcium and magnesium similar to part 2.

The only issue is how much do I dose of the Reef Advantage Calcium to match the amount that 30ml of ATI pro part 2 puts in?

ATI Essentials pro states that it has 27.300 ° dKH a. 195,000 mg of calcium per set. A set is two bottles of 2 liters.

So it must be 195,000 mg in 2000ml.

Reef Advantage Calcium says each 5 g/150 L will raise calcium by about 12 mg/L

So how much Reef Advantage Calcium would I need to dose each day to tide me over until the alk part runs out?

The same amount in equivalents would probably work out best.

Assuming it is correct that ATI has 195,000 mg per 2 L, then the potency is 97,500 mg/L.

30 mL of that is adding 2.9 g of calcium.

Reef Advantage Calcium (dry) will add that amount of calcium if you use 7.25 g or 1.4 teaspoons.

Probably the correct answer, RHF is always the man for the equivalents.

I hope you added 1/2 and tested afterwards to see if you were moving in the right direction? He probably got it correct but after you add it all it will be too late to discover any issues that might be coming.
