Hello! I am curious what your guys’ opinion is on how many wave makers in a tank. I am looking at a Waterbox AIO 35.2 (33g - 23.6 x 19.7 x 17.7”). It would mostly be for a mixed reef but softies and lps would be added much earlier than sps. I know two wavemakers are the general consensus for a medium sized tank but I wasn’t sure if that would change with a smaller footprint. I’m currently looking at an mp10 or Nero 3. I would consider gyres such as the Orbit 2 but I’m not sure if they’re too big for a tank of this size. Thoughts? Also, since it is a mostly a cube, where would you recommend placement?

Thank you in advance!

I say 2 is the best. I have 2 in my 15 gallon, 2 in my 32, and 2 gyres in my 40. The gyres were in my 32 before I upgraded to the 40. I believe that good flow is very important and thats how I reef.
