Hey guys,

I have a 275-gallon fish and invert-only tank, and I am considering getting more Lyretail anthias. I think I can get 6 Lyretail's and be ok. What do you guys think?

I currently have the following:
  • 1 blue tang
  • 2 pajama cardinal
  • 1 banggai cardinal
  • 2 yellow tail damsel
  • 1 watchman goby
  • 1 firefish goby
  • 1 misbar clownfish
  • 1 snowflake clownfish.
  • 2 cleaner shrimp
  • 4 conches
  • 1 brittle starfish
  • 40 ish hermit crabs
  • 20 ish snails

I saw some other forums that said the inch rule doesn't really matter, but with the fish, I currently have there are 42 total inches (excluding the invertebrates).

Six should work on a tank that size, maybe even more. I have 5 disbar in a 180g and they are doing fine. They are with several large tangs, 2 damsels a chromis, six line, pair of clowns and maybe some I'm forgetting.
