Personally I do not like many in my display. I like to let my frags grow out in to nice colonies in my display tanks..
I have a frag tank for frags. A display tank with to many small frags to me does not look good and prefer appropriately sized colonies for the size of the tank.

Just counted...

14G tank

41 bought so far...

2 dead, 1 tiny torch that faded, 1 utter chaos that melted. 2 ricordia that never attached to anything and disappeared under rock somewhere.

At least everything else is growing...

I had an utter chaos frag...until my emerald crab ate it.

I have a couple. These were just added couple days ago along with about 20 more. A couple are colonies. One chalice is probably close to 6” across.

Please ignore my diatom issue.

I have small to medium sized colonies crowding our a few small frags that are fighting to get big or they will die in the struggle. Every now and again I scrape off the coralline algae to see what’s winning
