nothing in the tank except 1 snail
honestly man expect your phosphates be all over the place for months until they level out. I have the same tank. it's 5 months old. I had a crazy spike in the beginning, it then dropped to 0, now I'm dosing phosphate because the system is still devouring it somehow. actually have to dose neophos and neonitro currently.

it's difficult to just lower your phosphate. based off feeding, fish waste, amount of rock in the system, etc. minor changes can also cause big changes in tanks our size. i have 3 fish and feed 3 times a day and I can't even get my po4 and nitrate to be readable without dosing.

i have coral coming soon so need to strip it asap would overdosing phosguard work?
I wouldn't overdo it on phosphuard, but now's the time to do it pre corals if you want to go that route. honestly a wat r change should be enough to bring your parameters into check and then just watch your feeding if your po4 keeps jumping that high.

i think the rock is leaching po4 it was 2.0 did a 75% water change went to 0.58 did another 75% water change today but only went to 0.46 so bought some phosguard want it completely stripped then ill work from there

I have the opposite issue of you now. I'm just constantly bottoming out even if I feed frozen 3 times a day. and I shut off my skimmer at night.

but I'm upgrading to 40g because I just hate these swings. 40 will still swing but hopefully the extra 30 gallons makes managing parameters a bit easier.

If it's a rock issue, it will take a bit regardless of how much you dose.
not 100% sure its a rock issue it went from 2.0 to 0.58 to 0.46 with water changes my "live rock" arrived dry so maybe just the die off from the rock
