yea i’m too scared of sps so i probably won’t do that
Buy a low dollar one. They will do fine they are less demanding sps. A slower grower. You will do fine. They where my fist sps. My buddy calls up and says hey these arnt doing well let's see how they do in your tank. They are thriving and mine tank at the time was all softies. Nothing better than a freindy nudge.

Low light and high flow Cyphastrea is the way to go.

Any way to show the flow in that area? You’d be surprised at how much flow hammers and frogspawns can take when it’s not direct flow.

I had my frogspawn in a very high flow area of my tank for a few weeks while I messed with my flow for sps and it was the biggest it’s ever gotten.

it’s pretty strong direct flow and i was thinking about those but it’s turning out i’m going to be filling the top half of my tank with frogspawn and hammers

+1 for Cyphastrea.
That stuff is bulletproof.
Some beautiful varieties out there too.
I wouldn't get too hung up on a piece being categorized as "SPS" or "LPS"
There are some very hardy "SPS" corals out there. Cyphastrea among them.
If it is in direct, laminar flow, I don't think any "fleshy" coral is going to tolerate it well.
