Pics? Indirect flow or direct flowok so my tank has a now right to left because my plan to split the flow failed and now my one rock is a high flow rock and i’m wondering on what lps i can put it’s a really low spot on my reef as well so low light any help would be nice
You could try some zoa ,Chalalce, galaxia, torches or sps Cyphastrearight in the middle of that rock and it’s not direct flow but it was to much for my duncan

i have a question how aggressive is galaxiaYou could try some zoa ,Chalalce, galaxia, torches or sps Cyphastrea
On a scale of 10 they are 20i have a question how aggressive is galaxia
ok thanksOn a scale of 10 they are 20
yea i’m too scared of sps so i probably won’t do thatCyphastrea is a really nice entrusting sps low light high flow. Mine is growing 50-75par
Buy a low dollar one. They will do fine they are less demanding sps. A slower grower. You will do fine. They where my fist sps. My buddy calls up and says hey these arnt doing well let's see how they do in your tank. They are thriving and mine tank at the time was all softies. Nothing better than a freindy nudge.yea i’m too scared of sps so i probably won’t do that
yea i’ll look at it for a bit i’m probably just gonna go with some more lpsBuy a low dollar one. They will do fine they are less demanding sps. A slower grower. You will do fine. Low light and high flow Cyphastrea is the way to go.
Leptastrea would be another good one. Encrusting lpsyea i’ll look at it for a bit i’m probably just gonna go with some more lps
it’s pretty strong direct flow and i was thinking about those but it’s turning out i’m going to be filling the top half of my tank with frogspawn and hammersAny way to show the flow in that area? You’d be surprised at how much flow hammers and frogspawns can take when it’s not direct flow.
I had my frogspawn in a very high flow area of my tank for a few weeks while I messed with my flow for sps and it was the biggest it’s ever gotten.
ok i’ll have to look it up and i recently put a random flow generator on it so it’s kinda randomly flow now+1 for Cyphastrea.
That stuff is bulletproof.
Some beautiful varieties out there too.
I wouldn't get too hung up on a piece being categorized as "SPS" or "LPS"
There are some very hardy "SPS" corals out there. Cyphastrea among them.
If it is in direct, laminar flow, I don't think any "fleshy" coral is going to tolerate it well.
