Welcome to R2R. Anything you are comfortable with works, but most have drilled tanks, to lower the risk of leaks, and floods.. AIO's also have their place, but tend to need extra equipment that fits to equal a Reef ready tank and sump, but I have two AIO's and they work well.

Not up to date with the latest Tech do I do old school overflow with sump or something new, maybe an all in one system? Can I get some pointers.

Welcome aboard r2r brother, so I guess you forgot about all the headaches in this hobby or you have to much money,haha just playing. Your gonna love it here great people very helpful all in all a great community. Much luck to you and don’t forget pics pics pics
