Hey all,

I and just wanted to point out how cool this form is for NEWB's like myself! I have been stalking/reading/absorbing information for close to a year now, and I just finally made an account to introduce myself and ask if I'm crazy....?!

Goal: Create a lasting healthy ecosystem - life come first, my desires for looking "cool" second.

Tank: Red Sea Nano Max - space is an issue, has to be in my home office

First question, should I consider another small space path or AIO tank?

Secondly, if the Red sea Nano Max should be my cup of team, what are my must haves addons to start off with?

I'm not intimated by learning, and will be patent throughout this.

Thanks for reading!

Welcome to R2R glad you joined us. I would start with getting a good light, protein skimmer, heater preferably one with a controller, power head, mesh screen top for the jumpers, salinity checker. Well one thing I would do is go to myfirstfishtank.com. He has a starting list there.

Welcome!

I am in a similar place as you, maybe just a few weeks ahead. I have my RedSea Reefer 170 being delivered next week and am currently researching the last 6 years or advancements in all the other necessary equipment and having problems making decisions between all of the options. Will follow along here and see what you come up with as well.
