have any of you ever had trouble with hermit crabs crawling over and disturbing your small frags. I just got a small 10 polyp frag, and when i put it in the tank, hermits started picking at the polyps, or the rock itself. What do you do to isolate the frag?

Thanks,
kevin

wouldnt worry about it. just b/c the polyps are closed doesnt mean its bad.

my cleaner shrimp, and nasarius snails go right after any new frags in the tank, they clean them up and down.

i'm not a big fan of hermits b/c they take out snails for their shells. but as long as they aren't ripping polyps apart, i doubt they'll bother them unless they are already dying.
