CO2 is a tricky one. The best solution we've been to come up is to store the RO water in a reservoir and aerate that water for 24 hours. Once aerated, it can then be gravity siphoned through the DI canister.

For larger commercial applications, there are large and expensive degassers/aerators available. However, both size of the equipment and cost are inhibitive for hobbyists.
