Just moved everyone over to the qt to treat ich. Going to use cupramine. Too much aeration? Everything look good? TIA

Additionally, bottle says 14 days after therapeutic dose has been reached. I’ve heard anywhere from that to 90 days. Should I just follow Jay Hemdals 2023 qt protocol-34 days? TIA

Its 30 days and max treatment level is .5 for again 30 days. Added aeration looks sufficient and be sure to monitor copper level with Hanna brand copper test kit and also monitor ammonia also with reliable test kit

Thank you good sir
Cupramine is a bit harsher than coppersafe. With active infections, I’d got for 21 days after the last spots were seen - that typically ends up being a total of 30 days or so.
Extra aeration like this won’t hurt the fish, but if it is too turbulent the fish may have difficulty chasing down food. I think just one good air releaser is needed in a tank this size.
Did you use any bacteria starter for this tank? You really need to ensure the ammonia is kept below 0.25 ppm

Okay cool sounds good they didn’t have any problems eating this morning.
I did I added microbe lift night out 2 and special blend a day before I did first dose. I also pulled part of the foam pad out of my filter and put in the hob filter in the qt tank
