Remember adding chemical change different things in your fish tank so always keep checking and testing your water!O ok so far I’ve added dr Tim’s fishless cycle, and I’ve bought the pink and purple algea to spread into my Marco money saver live rock, once I’m finished with dr Tim’s fishless cycle I’ll update!
sorry nobody got to you sooner. Best way to get nitrates down is water changes until they're in a good range. If they keep rising, you need to look at your nutrient export methods. Skimmer/refugium/algae reactor? If you cant add or make any of your nutrient export methods more powerful, you need to reduce your nutrient import (less feeding).hey guys!
My nitrates are high, been trying to get them down, please look at these pics and tell me some suggestions please! I bought a siphon tube for sand and a scraper to get it off walls etc
How do I get my nitrates in check and how do I get all the brown algae out?
Can I put some CUC members in there now or should I wait?
