Help with my Anemone

Hello fellow reefers,

Since my water change a week ago, my anemone totally shrinked. Does anyone know what caused this? How you can solve this issue?

It looks like its mouth is gaping open. Can you post your parameters, lighting, and tank age?

Since happen after a water change. I would start with a change in salinity. Do you know the temperature of the new saltwater before adding? Change in salinity or temp would cause stress to tank inhabitants.

We need more information about the parameters. I agree with the above person, was there a swing in temp/salinity?

My parameters are as follows.

Temperature: 80° F

Ammonia: <0.1 ppm

Nitrite: <0.2 ppm

Nitrate: <5 ppm

pH: 8.2

Salinity: 1.025

The tank is roughly 4 months old.

Temperature of the water was around 80. Salinity level was 1025.

My main question rightnow is whether my anemone can be cured… is it still alive? I am quite concerned at the moment. The clown fish are constantly around it as well…

Are you using API to test? Those are known for not being the most accurate.
