I have a JBJ Rimless 45 and built the stand this past weekend.

The instructions were not great, but I figured it out fairly easily. The stand comes with these four pieces that go on the bottom of the stand:

For those that have built the stand, have you used these? I am considering laying the stand flat on the floor. It seems to me with about 520 pounds total in weight laying flat may be better than using these supports. Any thoughts? Am I wrong in my thinking and these will add to the support of the stand? I am no structural engineer and my building skills are pretty much at their limit even with a stand kit. Thanks for any help.

I didn’t know they came with supports. So I don’t have anything like that on mine.
Mine lays flat on the floor. You should be fine without using them!!

Thanks. I had a .pdf of the stand manual I found that seemed like a slightly different version. What came with mine was just a single diagram of how it fit together.

Anyone else have the stand with the floor supports and did you use them?

I used them with the stand and it screwed mine up. But unwittedly because I didn’t used the inside brace at least that what I believe.

I used them but then I took one by three and braced them inside the left top and right side of the stand I lost two inches on the inside but I think the stand bowed inwards using those above

Thank you all. I am pretty sure I will leave them off. I see no advantage to having them, only risk, unless there is something I am missing.
