I just noticed my coral doesn’t look as colorful as it used to so I took this pic and it looks like something is growing on it. Is this a disease or algae?

I’m in Dayton. Maybe because I have it on the bottom of my tank not enough light. I put it in some medic coral we will see how it does. I don’t have a better pic sorry.
I agree with you I think it’s mostly dead. It’s barely fluorescent in my blue lights. It hasn’t done anything in a month. No growth. I might have starved it from light. I put it in the middle of my tank so we will see. Thank you for you help. I really appreciate it.

Could be a lot of factors as to it dying. Stoney corals like that require a lot more than just good lighting. Hopefully it can bounce back before fully dying off!
