My GSP needs a soft bristle tooth brush run on it from time to time.. any algae build up seems to make it not want to come out... GSP grows in toilet water so if other corals are fine i wouldn't be so worried. My GSP started out as a golf ball size and now is over 9" across. at times will not come out for days n days.

+1 use a soft bristle tooth brush and a turkey baster to get debris off of the mat. Youll tick them off for a little bit, but they will be good as new tomorrow!
ok ill try and use a turkey baster even though i see my hermit cleans the gsp but there might be some debris that they miss ill try it out thank you

Did anything happen that would have changed the flow in the tank?

I moved a bunch from one tank to another with higher flow and once it got itself anchored down it probably started extending 2-3 times more than it did in the other tank.

no changes with the flow everything is good which is weird because as you can see on the pic all of the corals from the toadstool to the kenya and xenia and evern my mushrooms are doing great except gps which is known to live in the worst saltwater parameter lol
