Can someone help me with this gorgonian. I got it last thursday (2/2) and it has yet to open. Is it dying/already dead or am I doing something wrong? It is in mid/high lighting and high flow. It is a tan photosynthetic species. Also there is a spot where the flesh is exposed.

This gorg does not like strong flow. What you are doing with strong direct flow is blasting the living animal off of its skeleton. It requires moderate light with gentle indirect flow.
Ok i’ll move the wavemaker and see how it does. Thank you very much!
