I'm relatively new to the reefing hobby (2yrs) and I currently don't have any coral it's just a FOWLR tank, I'd like this to change, i currently have 2 Dymax Space X lights and they are ok but I want the lighting to be exceptional so I'm thinking of pairing up a couple of AI Hydra 32's with 2 AI Blades, 1 Glow, 1 Grow on a hybrid mount. My main question is will the size 39.1" Blades be too big for the 39.5" outside edge width of the tank? Will it be better to get the 30" blades with the rest bars to avoid light spillage.
Any help appreciated... Michael

But I'll still be able to use the HMS multi light Arms, fit my Hydra32 I just got today and as I'm just going to see how it goes with the Hybrid mount and 2 x 39.1" blades they should fit even if the rail is slightly shorter the Hybrid mount allows the blades to hangfree. Or do you think I need another 32 or 64 and get two hybrid mounts as they say with a single main fixture hybrid mount you should only use up to 30" blades and I'd hate to have them sag tho all it would do is prompt me to get another 32 and kit so there will be two brackets on each side, one coming off each Hydra,
Also what does anyone think about mixing it up and adding a Radion Xr15 or even 30 to get a more comprehensive spectrum and optimal par readings. I've heard the Radions don't have that disco ball effect the Hydras put out .. interested to hear your thoughts.
Cheers Michael

There are a bunch of mounting options with the blades. Stuff you can buy or the blades have a 8mm threaded hole at each end for mounting purposes not sure on the thread pitch though. I have mine on extended legs sitting on the tank. But slowly I am shutting that tank down and may use the blade as supplemental inside my canopy.
