I am a college student and recently I bought an Acropora, a heat wave hit this week and my parents didn’t really do all to much to lower the tank temperatures of my aquarium. So I came home to this. I don’t know if it’s completely dead, but if it isn’t, can I save it, and how?

it looks like it already died. I would place it into a high flow area and put lights in acclimation mode/ dim the lights, but this one might already be gone

Looks bleached, it’s just a tip, how long in your tank, what did it look like at its best? Do you now which Acro tip that is.
I got it last week as of today, which is really disappointing. It was an orangish red, but I don’t know what specific acro it was off the top of my head. I remember seeing the mother colony and it looked like a staghorn

I’d lower the light, it’s just a tip and keep all else normal, less change the better.
Some Aminos every few days or so would be beneficial.
Bleached yes, white it is not.
Hit or miss outcome, but not dead IMM, or at least yet.
Good luck.

There’s zero flesh on that… it’s a skeleton with super glue.
