Hello! My tank was recently overrun by these little brown corals (?). They are about 1/2” long and really starting to cover a lot of the tank. I’d really appreciate knowing what this is and how do I get rid if it?

Thanis in advance!

Myrionema hydriods:
+1. A quick Google search led me to the photosynthetic Myrionema hydriods which seem to be highly problematic in captivity.

I've tried pulling them scrubbing with a brush kalk paste works so so. Worse things I've gotten from a frag by far. Wished I'd known beforehand what they where n I'd tossed the frag out but they're taking over and killed off lots of corals already sadly. I've been so frustrated I've considered getting out because I don't want a tank of just the black plague of reefing. I Bayer dip and tried h2o2 dip before it spread. Also limited lights to few hours a day done multiple blackouts for up to a full 8 days. I'm about to pull a Elvis and shoot the dang tank instead of a tv lol.
