Did you see all the crap covering the coral? It's not just contractedHow long was it very happy?
Contraction can be triggered by a quick change in light intensity, being touched, bitten or swiped by someone,or a quick change in water chemistry?
Those are the most likely reasons.
The question is it temporary or long term, many times they just pop back for reasons unknown.
Brown Jelly Disease. Take it out before it screws any other corals. What are your parameters like, PAR and flow?It happened over night, it was fine yesterday
Do this : take the frag out of the tank and smell it. If it smells like death (believe me, you'll know), it's a goner and unfortunately you'll need to trash it.I took of the stuff with turkey baster, there’s still some left should I try taking all off I just don’t wanna stress the coral even more
I can attest to this. my nostrils melted almost at the disgusting smell. However this one is a goner without even smelling.Do this : take the frag out of the tank and smell it. If it smells like death (believe me, you'll know), it's a goner and unfortunately you'll need to trash it.
