I have an Aqua Vim 155g corner tank... well, it's also a bowfront so I guess you could call it a quarter cylinder.

The dimensions are - 57" x 40" x 28.5 - 155gal

In my possession currently I have 3x MP40 QDs and 2x Maxspect XF230 Gyre Pump with Controller (2300 GPH)

I also have a Cor20 as my return pump which comes out a dual nozzle from the top down about dead center.

I'm down for any mix/config of the 5.

Including a pic of my current rock layout and dimensions of the tank.

Thanks in advance everyone!!

I always try a little bit of everything. At the moment, I have very little since my tank crashed last week and just about everything got cooked by a rogue heater. Now that I've re-scaped and cleaned up I figured it was a good time to get my wavemakers better situated.

I was thinking of giving this a try.

MP40s toward the front and low and the gyres on the back or middle and high

I’d go MP40s mi height and just in front of your rock scape on either side to create mid tank, mid level random turbulence.

gyres and the top middle of the lane to creat surface agitations and turbulence up high.

then use your duel returns to hit the dead spots and direction flow later has dictated by corals

I have a 92-gal corner. I use just an mp40 on high right front wall so a lot of the flow gets shaped by the bowfront. I had another mp40 on the other side but it wasn't needed. I like this placement with the random pattern of the mp40. The return blows down both sides for those dead zones behind the rocks with the one pointed towards the mp40 side almost straight down. I have my rock set up like a v shape also with an open middle. Amazing setup and I keep a mixed reef with SPS.

Key point is use the bowfront curve to your advantage.
