I did not get a picture of it, but when I saw it it made me do a double take. it looked like a snail that lost his shell! saw him on my rock work and haven't seen him since. his foot had a pattern to it (dark tan/black and white almost speckled but a bit more controlled)

any thoughts? if I see him again Ill get him out then take a pic.

looks like a slug? If he's got a small big of a shell, but only a flat one, just a Chitin of some sort (I've always called them that due to being told it, not sure the scientific genus they're in though) and most likely not a coralvore if that's the case. If it looks like he has feathers sticking up, could be a nudi of some sort and then a possible/probably coralvore.

Hope that's some help

Stomatella snail. They have a small shell that is thin and kinda looks like a fingernail. They come out mostly at night and are all over my glass and rocks.

Yes, it's reef safe. Beneficial algae grazer. If conditions are good, should spawn in your tank which creates food for your filter feeders.
