Help identifying problem with blue tang

I’ve had a problem with my blue tang getting sick before and many said it was bacterial, so I QT her about 2 weeks and everything cleared up. so I put her back in my display, and a week later after an addition of a royal gramma she pops back up with spots over night. They do not look like ich I’m thinking it’s more of a bacterial thing but I’m not sure. Any help is very appreciated! Thanks.

Did you treat the fish with antibiotics? Did you QT the royal gramma?

This fish has a bacterial and fungal issue and likely associated with water quality and previous skin irritation. The fish also has HLLE which coincides also with water quality.
How are you testing water?
If not using copper currently, treat fish with Seachem Neoplex for at least 14-21 days.
If using copper, finish out treatment time remaining and maintain pristine water quality then switch to Neoplex

In the other thread, you said the tang was posturing in front of a cleaner shrimp - is it still doing that?

This looks like a relapse of the previous problem. While the royal gramma could have brought a new disease into your tank, generally “carriers” of a new disease will show symptoms before any old fish in the tank will.

She is currently being treated in Fritz coppersafe and seachem sulfaplex. And no I did not QT the royal gramma, however the LFS is very careful with their stock and QT then after arrival

Yes, I have seen her trying to be cleaned by my cleaner shrimp, however she didn’t have any signs of sickness when she was doing so. And the new royal gramma is doing great and has no signs of sickness

I am using an API mater test kit, and my nitrate never goes above 5.0 ppm and my nitrite is a 0 ppm and never really moves past that, and my ammonia is a 0 ppm and I check every other day.
Also she is currently being treated in Fritz copper safe and seachem sulfaplex
