Hi,

When I turned off the light, this little fellow can crawling out of a rock! Planning on keeping shrimp larvea in the tank, but would like to know if he is harmful. Who can help identify this hairy friend?

The exact species of bristle worm is going to be very time consuming to research. It looks like the normal scavenging type to me. But even scavengers can become predatory or develop a taste for something you don't want it to eat. If you are raising shrimp, them don't take a chance. Remove it or put it into your DT.
