Hello fellow reefers, my Colorado Sunburst Nem has been thriving in my tank for over a year until a couple of weeks ago.
I don’t know if there is an infection or if its being stressed by something in the tank.
Parameters have been stable and everything else including another nem is doing great.

My only observation is that I have noticed 2 or 3 cleaner shrimps and a blood shrimp are now always around it and frequently go into it. Other than that I am out of ideas.
Parameters
Alk 8.3
Cal 425
Mag 1360
Ph 8.1-8.3
Temp 76-78
100 gallon Peninsula Tank
sharing a 100 gallon sump with 2-90 Gallon Frag tanks
Lights T5 hybrid and 4 xr15 G6
Power-heads are on the opposite side of tank
Tank is 3 years old

Have you always had those shrimp? Can you watch to see if any of them have gotten a taste for nem tentacles?
Shrimp are so cool looking but I refuse to keep them in my tank. I just don't trust them at all.

Ive always had cleaner shrimps and blood shrimps, but I did add couple new ones.
On another note, the clownfish started hosting recently after 2 years in the tank.

I would lean towards the shrimp. I have not ever had that problem though.

Considering it is only happening to the upper part of the anemone next to the rock work where the shrimp are hanging out, and seeing that last pic with the shrimp there on the anemone would give me cause to make some changes.

Please share your nitrates and phosphates also. Shortened tentacles can indicate low nutrient levels.
I was dosing carbon and a couple of weeks ago my tank was bottoming out in nutrients.

According to my Hanna Ckrs
Phosphate .08
Nitrate 11
