Help me ID this carpet anemone. Bought it online from one of the sponsor vendor here as “Yellow Haddoni”. Definitely not a haddoni, but what is…

It has a sticky tents. Does this looks like a Gigantea? Or something else?

This is a gigantea. Verrucae on the column and the tentacle distribution are telling, for me.

Looks like he’ll need cipro as well.

Edit: I also hail from Vacaville :)
I was leaning towards Gig but having a second thought.

Got it this morning and just did the first cipro treatment earlier tonight.

Hey, nice to meet another reefer from Vacaville!

That is a not too healthy Gigantea. Good luck. The pastel coloration of the foot and the verrucae, and the distribution of the tentacles help ID this anemone.
best of luck.

Ihope I can make it to color up and survive. Wondering if it is a green or a cream/brown one.

i will try to get hold of the seller tomorrow.

thanks!

Did you get this from Reef Exclusive? I saw a yellow one on there and thought it was a gig not a haddoni and was tempted to buy it. Hope treatment goes well

Yes. I did mentioned it to the owner that the photo they have is a gig and actually from PEA but he said it is just for representation of color and the photos on their website are all from the internet. Knowing the scenario I still order one hoping I will get a good nem. Actually, I have no problem getting a gig instead of haddoni.
