Hello, I am Jerome, 22 years old, from Germany, and this is my aquarium.

I started my Reefer 250 G2 in November 2022.

Equipment:
2x ReefWave25
ReefMat 500
Skimmer RSK 300
Aqua Medic Dc Runner 3.3
2x ReefLed 90

ReefLed settings:

https://reef-beat.com/ELqSheoutBoFRtCC9

Issues:

Currently, I am having trouble getting good water flow in the aquarium. I am using the Y-split outlet, and the RFP runs at 82%. The ReefWave settings can be seen in the pictures. The fish usually stay on one side of the aquarium during the day and do not swim much because they have to fight against the water flow. They only start swimming in the evening when the water flow is less or when it pauses. My corals like the water flow.

Has anyone had experience with the correct tilt, strength, and positioning of ReefWaves25 in a Reefer250?

Welcome. Kinda looking at the picture. Sorta seems like you are stocked with kinda lazy swimming fish that kinda find a spot and hang till dinner time. I have a bunch of those same fish and they sorta just loaf about the tank too

Greetings, Jerome and welcome to the reef! Personally, I don't have experience with that model, but someone else should chime in. Happy reefing!

Wie Gehts jz,
Nice tank. Lots of corals there.
Youll have to pick your favorites when they start growing
