Hey, everyone! I am fairly new to the saltwater hobby. I've had a saltwater tank for about 9 or 10 months. My SO is also helping as she has experience with freshwater systems. Happy to be here and learn more! How about I show you a little of our saltwater journey so far.

We started with a 40 breeder:

We let this grow out for a while adding things here and there:

And then....we moved. We decided to move everything into a 55 gallon tall tank during this move. The original plan was for this tank to be a species specific tank with sea horses but that didn't happen. It might still, but until we get additional tanks to spread our current stock around, this will be our main DT:

I will eventually be posting a build thread for this tank, but here it is currently:

(I recently did a large water change and cleaned out much of the algae, so things are looking a little upset right now. Here is the before and after though)

Dimensions: 20" x 20" x 36" (approximate)
Filtration: Tidal 75 HOB Filter
Lighting: Kessil A360x

I'll post some better pictures once our corals open up a little more and the water becomes less cloudy.

Random bonus pick of our hammer since it's my favorite right now:
